2001年7月于陕西师范大学获得理学学士学位，2009年7月于陕西师范大学获得工学博士学位。曾于2001年7月至2003年9月在陕西理工学院工作。 2009年10月至2011年11月于加拿大阿尔伯特大学的化学与材料工程学院从事博士后研究。

目前的研究方向是：（1）超分子结构单元的设计与合成，凝胶类软物质材料的制备及性能研究；（2）功能聚合物以及功能聚合物-磁性复合纳米粒子的设计与制备，研究其表界面性质，在此基础上，研究高界面活性复合纳米粒子对多相体系稳定性的影响，为开发新型破乳剂的应用研究奠定基础。目前主持国家自然青年科学基金项目1项，参与2项国家自然科学面上基金和2项横向基金。
